We already mentioned that Cameron went to extremes to manipulate scenes to fit his vision. He really knew how to make the shots look larger and more mesmerizing on screen. Although these tricks are pretty impressive, they are nothing compared to what they did with Rose’s outfits.

Kate Winslet’s wardrobe throughout the movie was made to fit the actress’s actual size, which was a size four. This makes sense considering her clothes need to fit her. However, while the ship was sinking, Rose wore a coat that was a size eight. The reason for this was to make Rose look more vulnerable, and we wouldn’t even know why.
