The Unsinkable Reba
The unsinkable Molly Brown was almost played by a familiar face. Country singer-songwriter, and actress, Reba McEntire auditioned and landed the role. She was so excited to play the character, but unfortunately, she had to turn down the role in the end because of scheduling conflicts that couldn’t be changed.

The role ultimately went to Debbie Reynolds, who did an outstanding job with the part. Isn’t it hard to imagine this quirky country star playing a character in such a dramatic movie? She is mostly known for starring in comedies to it definitely would have changed things up. Do you remember Reba, the sitcom she starred in for six seasons? It would be pretty interesting to see her play a different kind of character.
