The Story of Megyn Kelly and the Bombshell Movie

Going Back to Her Childhood

On November 18th, 1970, Megyn Marie Kelly was born in Illinois. Her mother, Linda, was a homemaker, and her father, Edward, was an intellectual and liberal professor. Kelly has always been attracted to the cowgirl’s life growing up. Her favorite picture of herself is when she was a child dressed in full cowgirl gear. The TV host can vacation anywhere she wants, but apparently, her ideal vacation is on a dude ranch!

She grew up surrounded by Ph.D. students and listened to their complex debates. Despite her upbringing, Kelly didn’t really want to be part of the scholarly life to the point where she quit her job as a lawyer to “get her hands dirty.” Sadly, Kelly’s dad died when she only in the 10th grade.
