Clyde Barrow
Bonnie was 19 when she met Clyde and already married to an imprisoned murderer, so it’s safe to say she has a type. Clyde, however, was unmarried and 21 years old when he met his [literal] partner in crime. Clyde was born into a poor family and learned how to get away with petty crimes at a young age. His older brother Buck, helped him steal food and hardwire cars.
They justified their actions thinking they did what they needed to do to survive. Clyde’s first arrest was at age 17, for not returning a rented car on time. He then got convicted of robberies and stealing cars. He had a tough life and made some careless mistakes, but in 1932, his mistakes turned into a way of life.
