The Men Behind Tarzan: The Real-Life Jungle Man and the Troubled Author Who Brought Him to Life

Now, if you ask me, Disney just does it best. The animated Disney adaptation of Tarzan was released during what has become known as the “Disney Renaissance” that spanned across the decade of the 90s. Tony Goldwyn was the voice of Tarzan and Minnie Driver voiced Jane. The cartoon adaptation re-imagines Tarzan’s jungle skills.

With animation, he’s able to do things live-action films just could do back in the day, like how he swung from tree to tree. This movie was the first Tarzan feature to ever win an Oscar in 2000, and the amazing Phil Collins won the Best Original Song Oscar for his original composition of the song, “You’ll Be in My Heart.”
