Pretty Woman Movie Secrets We Never Would Have Guessed

An Unfortunate Event

The scene where Edward takes his lady love to the opera is one of the best parts of the movie. Vivian was dressed beautifully in expensive clothes and exquisite accessories, looking like a queen, like she owned the place. But that scene wasn’t originally supposed to have been filmed at the location where it was.

Originally, the scene should have been filmed in San Francisco. But an earthquake of magnitude 6.9 hit the place, taking the lives of 67 people and causing $5 billion worth of damage. So the scene for the movie was then shot at the history museum of the University of Southern California. And although we don’t know how it would have turned out had the earthquake not hit, the improve location was still a great choice for the shooting.
