Dick Van Dyke is a name every generation has heard. Staring in classics such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Mary Poppins, this actor is 93 years old. Although we all know his name now, Dick Van Dyke experienced being homeless, at the start of his acting career.

He had no money that he married his first wife Margie Willet on national TV. They said ‘I do’ on the show Bride and Groom because they show paid for their honeymoon and really helped them out financially. Reportedly, they were so broke that the couple lived in his car, before becoming the legend we know him as now.
