Jeri Ryan was the actress who played Seven of Nine in ‘Voyager’ – a role that she actually turned down four times. She’s glad she took the role, though, as she was nominated four times for a Saturn Award and won in 2001.

Speaking of actors, DeForest Kelley (Dr. McCoy) was originally offered the role of Spock. Kelly was the first of the four original series members to appear on TNG. He was also the first original cast member of TOS to pass away, which was in 1999. He was 79 years old.
