Olympic & Mauretania Set the Precedent for Titanic
White Star Line built Titanic and its sister ships, R.M.S Olympic and R.M.S Britannic, to give severe competition to the rival company, Cunard. Olympic & Mauretania were the most significant and fastest cruise liners on the Atlantic at the time.
