Burt Reynolds’ Hollywood career was taking off, but he wasn’t the only one to be making a name for himself. At the very same time, actress Sally Field was also earning a reputation as one of the best performers of the day. Field, born in 1946, had gotten her start on TV, just like Reynolds.
