Sporting events unite people of all ages and cultures from different parts of the world and can often make history due to their unpredictable nature. One such great moment was on July 18, 1976, when Nadia Comaneci, a Romanian gymnast, scored a perfect 10 on the uneven bars in the Montreal Olympics and became the first person in history to achieve this score in any Olympic Games. In fact, the Olympic scoreboard was not set to present such a score because it was believed that a perfect ten is an impossible score, so the score appeared as 1.0, leaving Comaneci and the crowd very confused for a few seconds.
