Gabrielle was Charlie’s girlfriend until Alan decided to steal her out of revenge after finding out that it was Charlie who took his high school lover from him. Alan found out about her weird behavior in bed and wasn’t into it. In the episode, Charlie refers to it as ‘Kinda Like Necrophilia,’ so you can guess what happened. It turned out that Charlie knew, and he was still dating Alan’s high school sweetheart. This was in the same episode where Jake’s girlfriend dumped him.
