Taylor Swift is an American phenomenon. Knowing that she wanted to be a singer from a very young age, Taylor first made her mark as a country singer. “You Belong With Me” came out in 2008 and shows a story of a girl (Taylor Swift) in love with her next-door neighbor.

Her catchy chorus “If you can see I’m the one who understands you. Been here all along so why can’t you see, You belong with me, You belong with me” had girls all over the world singing about the men they wished would love them back.
