Woolly Mammoths and the Pyramids
It may be hard to fathom, but Woolly mammoths were still arrive when the Egyptians were building the pyramids around 2660BCE.
Scientists found out that wooly mammoths were still roaming the earth until 1650 BC. These giant hairy elephant-like creatures were discovered on an island off the coast of eastern Russia at the time. Meanwhile, the Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest of the pyramids, was built between 2630 BC–2611 BC.
