Heather Locklear – Melrose Place
Locklear’s role as executive Amanda Woodward earned her recognition on many “Best TV Villains” lists for many years. In 2010, Entertainment Weekly recognized her as one of the 100 Greatest Characters of the Last 20 Years. Her presence on the reboot of Melrose Place contributed to the success of the show, however, that did not save the cancellation of the show after only one season.
Heather Locklear’s Amanda Woodward character was the pretty lousy girl on Melrose Place. After the final series of Melrose Place in 1999, Locklear had stints on Spin City as Caitlin Moore, Ally McBeal and the short-lived reboot of Melrose Place.
In 2011, the actress ended her real-life engagement to her on-screen love interest on Melrose Place, Jack Wagner, after being together for four years. Locklear has a daughter, Ava, with her ex-husband, Richie Sambora.
Locklear has been in rehab several times, and in 2010, she was arrested for involvement in a hit-and-run. She was also arrested in February 2018 as a suspect of felony domestic violence and assault on a police officer.
Nevertheless, Locklear has continued to make TV appearances on Hot in Cleveland, Franklin & Bash, Fresh off the Boat, and TLC’s Too Close to Home.
