The Cast of The Sopranos: What Life Looks Like After Being on the Best Show Ever

This year marks the 20th anniversary of HBO’s crime drama ‘The Sopranos.’ And I’m going to use that as an excuse to do a piece on what I consider to be the best drama series I’ve personally ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot. The series premiered on January 10, 1999, and it was created by David Chase, who clearly understood what America wanted to see for one hour every evening. It did win 118 awards and 302 nominations, after all.

‘The Sopranos’ was a perfect example of what the perfect show looks like. It had all the ingredients: riveting drama, excellent acting, stellar scenes, a great storyline, well-made. Should I go on or should we just get to the before and after shots?

This what the cast of ‘The Sopranos’ has been up to for the last 20 years…

James Gandolfini – Tony Soprano

Character Stats: Series Regular; 86 episodes

R.I.P.: James Gandolfini died (way too soon) from a heart attack on June 19, 2013, at the age of 51. He passed away in Rome, Italy.

Most Notable Quote as Tony: “All due respect, you got no f—in’ idea what it’s like to be Number One. Every decision you make affects every facet of every other f—in’ thing. It’s too much to deal with almost. And in the end, you’re completely alone with it all.”
