The bathtub scene is another hit from this rom-com movie and shows Vivian in a classic singing-in-the-shower scene, happily vocalizing hits from Prince. That’s when Edward walks in to talk about how much money he’ll be paying her, and when she hears the amount, Vivian dunks her head underwater in excitement.

During the shooting of this scene, Richard Gere, Gary Marshall, and the rest of the crew present on set plan a hilarious prank on Roberts. As soon as she dunks underwater for the scene, they all leave; and when she comes back up, she is met with an empty bathroom. Don’t know about everyone else, but that’s the kind of bathroom we’re used to when we take a bath.
