Spock Ears and Fears
Here’s a fun fact: scientists from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory wore Spock ears when they were monitoring the Mariner V on the fly-by of Venus in October 1967. The Mariner V was a spacecraft that carried experiments to probe Venus’ atmosphere.
