Kate Mulgrew and Jeri Ryan Weren’t Getting Along
Jeri Ryan’s Seven of Nine joined ‘Voyager’ in the middle of the series. And in order to get the money for a new cast member, one needed to be killed off (which angered Mulgrew). Once Seven came on, she became the new and unique voice to the cast and was a new favorite of the writers.

She would walk off set whenever she was out of the shot, forcing Ryan to talk to thin air. For their scenes together, Mulgrew would read a magazine and chime in whenever directed to.
