The Next Generation
There was an alternate juror for the 1996 Whitewater trial who wore a ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’ uniform. She even had a phaser and tricorder during the trial. But she was later dismissed for talking to a journalist.

Another random fact: The ‘Star Trek: TNG’ character Geordi La Forge was named after a devoted fan of the original Star Trek series by the name of George La Forge. Sadly, George had muscular dystrophy and passed away in 1975.
