Most Vulcans are vegetarians and don’t touch food with their hands unless they’re wearing special gloves. Vulcans also have teeth that humans don’t have, their heart is where a human’s liver would, and they have no appendix.

Although they prefer not to mate, Vulcans have to reproduce via a ritual called Pon Farr. Once every seven years, they’re overcome by Plak-tow, or “blood fever,” where they become savage and may even fight to the death.
