Before hit reality shows like The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, Fox had a game show called Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire? The show features 50 women competing to win the heart of a millionaire on live TV.Audiences were not impressed with the premise of the show, yet there were 23 million people tuning in. Darva Conger, who was a nurse, won the show and the heart of multi-millionaire Rick Rockwell.

The couple got married, but then it was quickly revealed that Rockwell was not a multi-millionaire. In fact, his asset was a 1200 square foot house featuring a broken toilet in the backyard. Since Darva was hoping to end up with a real multi-millionaire, the marriage was annulled. Conger made the most of her 15 minutes of fame and went on to strip for Playboy.
