Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the USA. And he is most famous for leading the country during the American Civil War.

He also pushed for the freedom of all slaves throughout the nation. Fun fact: Lincoln established Thanksgiving as a national holiday. And he also hated being called Abe. He preferred to be called Lincoln.
