J.R Ewing
Larry Hagman was quite the household name during the 1970s. After his claim to fame starring on ‘I Dream of Jeannie,’ he landed many leading roles in films and TV shows. While he got his start on ‘I Dream of Jeannie,’ he is famous for his role of ‘J. R.’ Ewing in the show ‘Dallas.’

While starring in ‘Dallas’ in the ‘80s, he received 4 Golden Globe nominations. He also got 2 Emmy nominations for the show! Following ‘Dallas,’ he had roles in other hit TV shows such as ‘Nip and Tuck’ and ‘The Simpsons.’ However, sadly, Larry passed away in 2012.
