She Went Against Everyone for Her Role in “Speed”
Sandra Bullock’s performance in “Speed” was indeed a career-changing one. This is what got her the fame she enjoys now. However, you might not be aware of the fact that everyone advised her against doing that movie.

This was because it was expected that her performance and her role would not stand out in that movie and it would do nothing to enhance her career. “People” Magazine had quoted her saying, ‘Everyone told me not to do Speed. I mean, it looked like I’d be just ‘the girl.’ However, she went ahead to do the movie which turned out to be her breakthrough role.
