Other Forrest Gumps
I can’t even imagine an actor playing such a character like Forrest Gump other than the incredible Tom Hanks. He played the sensitive, simple, and sweet character to flawlessly, that it’s almost a shame to even imagine someone else instead. But as it goes in most films, other actors auditioned for the role. Some of the other actors that were considered to play Forrest included Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, and John Travolta.

What? Yeah, I know. I was also shocked. As talented as all those actors may be, they just don’t suit the role! Fortunately for Hanks (and us), they all declined. But can you imagine if Travolta didn’t? well this photo here can give you an idea as to what it would have been like.
