Stephen Hawking – A Brilliant Mind
Stephen Hawking opened our eyes to a new way of looking at the universe and black holes. He was not only one of the most famous scientists of our time but an author as well. His 1988 book “A Brief History of Time” was so popular, it sold over 10 million copies and was translated into 35 languages.
Hawking passed away at the age of 76 in March in Cambridge, United Kingdom. At the age of 21, Hawking was diagnosed with a motor neuron disease. He was married to Jane Hawking from 1965-1995 and leaves behind three adult children – Lucy, Robert and Timothy Hawking.
