Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal in India is one of the most amazing architectural wonders in the world. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal in 1632 to hold her remains. It was built over a period of 20 years. It is located on the Southern bank of the Yamuna River in India. The building itself is constructed of white marble; it changes color depending on the time of day. It was made a UNESCO world heritage site in 1983. The Taj Mahal is a fantastic place to visit; it photographs beautifully. The experience leaves you feeling better about the power of true love. To get to the Taj Mahal, one takes a 2-hour train to Agra from Delhi. You can also drive which will take you four to five hours.
