Apparently, Bohemian Rhapsody was all in Mercury’s mind before they even started. Brian May (the band’s guitarist) said “He knew exactly what he was doing… We just helped him bring it to life.” He also said that “It was really Freddie’s baby from the beginning. He came in and knew exactly what he wanted.
