Richard Simmons Now
Simmons retreated from the public eye after his stint in the 80s. He embraced his inner extrovert but didn’t rid of any of his sparkling outfits. Since 2014, Simmons was nowhere to be heard of or seen. He stopped showing up at public events and eventually began avoiding the public altogether.

Simmons was still the owner of “Slimmons Gym”, but it closed for good in 2016. Then in 2017, police reportedly visited his home for a “welfare check.” While rumors may have gone around that he passed away, they aren’t true. Our dear old fitness fella is alive and well.
