The Fall
This adventure fantasy film, starring Lee Pace, Catinca Untaru, and Justine Waddell was released in 2006. Hospitalized and bedridden stuntman Roy Walker tells an epic fantasy tale to Alexandria, a patient he met at the hospital. The story is about Alexander, the Great. As he narrates it, her vivid imagination brings the story to life.

The film premiered at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival to mixed reviews by critics. However, the reviews later became more favorable, and several critics included the film in their lists of top ten films of 2008. The film was shot in more than 20 countries over a period of four years. Most of Catinca’s lines were unscripted to increase the spontaneity.
