Speed Racer
This action-comedy was released in 2008. It features Emile Hirsch, Christina Ricci, Matthew Fox, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, Roger Allam, Benno Fürmann, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rain, and Richard Roundtree. Speed Racer comes from a family of racers. His late brother, Rex Racer, was a record-breaking racer whom he admired and he decided to follow in his footsteps after he died in a racing accident.

When Racer rejects Royalton’s offer to sign with him and signs with a rival team instead, he unveils a secret and manages to expose Royalton’s underhanded tactics to the world.
The film was a box office failure on release, and the reviews were mostly negative. Critics panned its storyline. It received several award nominations but won none. The few who praised it for its cinematography have been proven right over the years because the film now appears on various lists of top movies and is considered an underrated movie ahead of its time.
