Little Cassandra Ended Up at Harvard
Melissa Ann Francis played the part of little Cassandra Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie. She first got into acting when she was just a baby, appearing in a shampoo commercial at just six months of age. She appeared in various other movies and shows over the years, including the likes of Galactica 1980 and St. Elsewhere.

As well as being highly talented in the acting department, Francis was also blessed with a lot of intelligence. She went to Harvard University to study economics and has also spent time working as a TV journalist. She published a fascinating memoir in 2010 entitled Diary of a Stage Mother’s Daughter: A Memoir.
