What Happened to the World?
Al Bielek recalled asking people in that era how it came to be that a robotic computer system was able to take over full communities and essentially the entire world. He was shocked when people were surprised by his question. The time traveler said it seemed like that question never dawned on anyone until he asked it.

Humans on earth, in the future, never even thought about the question. Their lives were completely taken over by artificial intelligence, and it seemed like there was nobody who knew how it happened, why it happened, or even cared that it happened. Bielek took this disturbing revelation as an unsettling warning about the computer advancements. But then, everything shifted again.
