Let’s be honest; if you woke up in the future, chances are you would be alarmed at the very least. That’s why it’s not surprising that Bielek woke up with tons of questions. Bielek said that the doctors “told us about various events and showed us some maps of the altered United States.”

The doctors explained to him that severe changes took place between World War II and 2137. Almost all of the West Coast and Southeast were underwater, and the United States would be almost unrecognizable to him. Atlanta was next to the coastline, but Florida was completely gone. Just when you think a time travel story couldn’t get any crazier, Bielek found himself traveling in time once again just six weeks later.
