The Life and Death of a Fallen Angel: Farrah Fawcett

Farrah Fawcett was an exceptionally gorgeous actress known for her role in Charlie’s Angels. The star ended up on every teenage boy’s wall with her iconic poster, and she skyrocketed from there. Farrah had an impressive career and really left a mark on Hollywood. Unfortunately, no matter how rick beautiful and successful you are, health is the only thing that actually matters. When the actress was sadly diagnosed with cancer, Fawcett decided to document the experience.

She wanted people to see that all the glitz and glam doesn’t matter. Anyone can get can cancer, including a beauty icon like Farrah Fawcett. Her experience was later released as a documentary titled Farrah’s Story. She really wasn’t shy about showing how ugly the disease could be. Farrah Fawcett was known for her hair, and watching her shave it off really puts things into perspective. This is the life of Farrah Fawcett and her devastating death.

“F” For Effort

On February 2nd, 1947, Farrah Fawcett was brought into the world. She was the youngest of two girls; her dad was a Texas oil field contractor, and her mother was a homemaker. Her name was actually improvised. Her mom simply thought Farrah would just sound nice before her last name, Fawcett.

It’s probably surprising to absolutely no one that in Farrah was voted “Most Beautiful” in high school during her freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years. Nobody else stood a chance while she was there. Most of us had awkward phases during their teenage years, but Farrah appears to be a stunning exception.
