On June 10th, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Judy Garland was brought into the world. From the time she was just a little girl, it was obvious that Judy Garland was going to be a star. By the age of 13, she had already signed a contract with MGM Studios. In 1939, she became a household name when she was cast to star in the Iconic movie, The Wizard of Oz.

However, did you know Judy Garland isn’t her real name? Like many other Hollywood stars, Judy Garland needed a stage name. Her actual name is Frances Ethel Gumm. Since she is the daughter of professionals in the industry, she started her career extremely young; she was even called Baby Gumm.
