There Mir could accommodate up to six people. However, usually, just three castronauts lived there at once because it was so cramped. The station experienced 16 sunrises and sunsets every single day. Therefore, they had to back out portholes to stimulate night so that they can fall asleep.

The astronauts usually woke up at about 8:00 AM on the Moscow time zone. In the morning, they ate breakfast and got ready, which can take a few hours. Then they work until 1:00 P.M. before coming home for lunch and a workout.
