Another Woman Causes Complications
There was an additional complication: Casey had wanted a relationship with Jeremy and was extremely upset when it was apparent he wasn’t interested. In fact, she developed a kind of resentment toward Jeremy and his ability to move on so quickly, as well as Katie, and the thought of her son being raised by another woman was something that made her feel uncomfortable.
